• These deep gouges are designed with a parabolic curve. They are designed to be rolled up to 90° and change shape from a deep #11 to a smooth #3 in one continuous cut.
• The thumbnail grind keeps the corners from digging into the wood as the tool is rolled.
• They come super sharp, so you can start carving right away.
• The blades are high carbon spring steel fitted to polished Ash handles, shaped for comfort and control.
• The steel has impressive edge retention, with the tip hardened to HRC 59-61.
• All Flexcut gouges and carving chisels are ready to use straight out of the box.
• Regular stropping will keep them in top condition.
