• A must in the tool kit of every bowl turner. These tools are ideal for making bowls. They can produce either massive profiling cuts or delicate finishing cuts as necessary.
• These tools have a deep flute grind unlike spindle gouges.
• Many turners prefer to turn their tool handles to their own specifications. For those turners we offer the un-handled version of Sorby's standard 1/4" Bowl Gouge blade. These High Speed Steel (HSS) un-handled blades are identical to the ones found on the handled versions. The blades listed here will also fit the Sorby Sovereign System Handles. A Collet Adapter may be required if used with the Sovereign System. Check your manual for the size collet required if, any.
• Unhandled tools are in blade only form and are compatible with the Robert Sorby Sovereign handle system.
• Handled Tools are prefixed with H (handled) LH (long handled) or XLH (extra-long handled).
